The Beautiful Miss Baker

I looked at Miss Baker,
wondering what it was she “got done.”
 I enjoyed looking at her.
She was a slender,
small-breasted girl,
with an erect carriage,
which she accentuated by throwing her body backward at the shoulders
like a young cadet.
Her gray sun-strained eyes looked back at me with polite reciprocal
curiosity out of a wan,
charming,
discontented face.
It occurred to me now that I had seen her,
or a picture of her,
somewhere before.

Are people with money happier than people without money?

Money is pretty much the thing the world go round. It's just the simple fact. But honestly, the amount of money does not matter on how happy you are. There is no such thing as a happiness to richness meter where it makes you happy depending how rich you are! Your life and happiness just depends on how you make it and how you live it. Yes, it has it's perks but money isn't everything. Money can drive a man crazy mad with power or make them a anti-socialist all over.

A poor man's happiness depends on how his surroundings are, his family, and how he shows to the world "yeah I'm poor but you know what? I'm happy and I don't care what you say!" I have seen men wealthy, so wealthy that they buy anything they want whenever they want, but I have a one on one talk with them and they end up breaking down into tears and just tell me their life's story how they we're never loved, how they hate life, and how they can't control the life they live.

Money is a great thing to have to have that awesome weekend everyone has ever loved, but honestly money doesn't make the man, his decisions and life choices does. I consider myself as middle class, maybe as high middle class, and you know what? Honestly I'm not as happy as I should be but you know what I am happy. I am stressed out and I can't even sit down without getting back up to do something else. I don't let money make me feel above everyone I treat everyone as an equal and do everything I can to make everyone happy.

In the end, happiness is what makes we make as an individual and how we life our a lives. I will always remember the Christmas Carol as an example. I love seeing the family happy as they can be during Christmas having a great time and loving the joy of company from family, while Mr. Scrooge is watching from the window, sad, hoping that he had the time of love that they had.

The beauty within....

The out ward appearance of a person is, honestly, very important and determine a lot about people. We all say that we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but we always do.

We can see an person on the street and just by there appearance you judge them and label them as weird or dangerous.our just plain weird.

Myself I'm big and look like a football player and everyone ask me of I am, but I'm not. I'm a junior that is big, in theater, and runs the school store which is kind of the complete opposite. I dress nice and wear nice clothes so people ask me for money which is so judgmental.

To me a persons money or social status does not matter to me I am friends with a lot of people in this school from all places around San Antonio which I think it's awesome. I love seeing a persons story behind there lives at school it's so interesting.

my family? or myself?

Honestly I don't know what would be more important. But if I had to choose I would pick my family so the simple fact that we have been through a lot with my brother joining the marines and going to Afghanistan like yeah it sucks. So I try to do everything possible to make my family happy before me. Because without them I would honestly have nothing I would be bored and see how boring life is. They complete me in a sense; they are the ones I go to for advice and help, the ones I cry with, the ones I have the best memories with. So I guess I if I honestly had to choose I would probably pick my family over myself just to see them happy make my day just a bit better every day. But, then again their is that side of me that's like I need alone time leave me alone! and yeah I feel selfish saying that but come on everyone has those moments and you feel bad  for having them but you have them anyways. My family is my life and no matter what I love them, they are the best thing that has ever happened to me.

My American Dream

I want a life that's awesome! First of all, I want a beautiful family which is three kids and a wife. I want to live in a big house and live in peace. My dream is to be a petroleum engineer, which makes really good money. But honestly I don't want that white picket fence dream house but a hose in the country where I can be as loud as I want to be and no one would care. The main point is that I pretty much want to be happy. I will love my life to the fullest and live it like there is no tomorrow! I'm going to love my life I already know it..

In my life....

I was born on December 26, the day after Christmas I know I was born Miguel Angel Vanegas my mom said I was born at 9 in the morning. I love my life honestly I have 2 siblings, a sister and a brother. My brother is a marine and i'm proud to say that. I love music and movies. I'm a part time DJ which is probably the best job I could ever have. I'm a really bad procrastinator! I hate it! I don't know what I want to be when I grow up but I do have a goals in life. I love the Beatles and just classic rock period. I'm in theater, and BPA which is awesome. And yeah that's me!
